The Train to Happiness
The new found freedoms that have emerged in the former Soviet Union have allowed for the founding of the Jewish Shalom Theatre, a troupe that travels the length and breadth of the region bringing Jewish culture to generations of Jews previously lost to Communism. These same freedoms, however, have unfortunately also enabled Pamyat and other virulently anti-Semitic groups to flourish as well. The video explores the dedicated efforts of this unique troupe of entertainers who, against the background of increasing anti-Semitism, will not be deterred from their mission.
