The Enchanting Travels of Benjamin of Tudela
This charmingly animated video brings to life the travels of Benjamin as he traveled the Jewish world eight centuries ago. Sailing from Tudela, Spain during the second half of the twelfth century, In his "Book of Travels," Benjamin described the conditions of the Jewish communities he visited in Barcelona, Constantinople, Jerusalem, Baghdad and Cairo, to name but a few. Produced by Beth Hatefutsoth, Museum of the Jewish Diaspora. Ages 7 up.
